WELCOME...
For years this little digital corner of the web has been left neglected and was due a little light dusting and a lick of paint here and there, but whether this is your first visit or you've been here before (but an awfully long time ago) - Hello and welcome to my web page!
If you would like to get in touch with me about absolutely anything, below you can find links to my social networking profiles on Twitter and Facebook (as well as a few others) but good old fashioned email is still the best option. Do people still even use email anymore, or is it just me?
Please note the change in email address. The stephen@pellow.demon.co.uk one I had been using since 1996 came to an end in the tail end of 2016.
INTERVIEW
February 2016 - I had the pleasure of being interviewed by author Sallyann Phillips for her website. I had a great deal of fun doing it, and will hopefully do another one sometime!
There's a Man in My Dreams I Tell Lies To - Inkitt Competition Entry
In 2015 I submitted my flash fiction piece “There’s a man in my dreams I tell lies to” to the Shiver competition on Inkitt. 31 kind souls voted for my story, which was the first piece of fiction I had ever made public, and it ultimately finished in 10th place.
Click here to read the story and here to read the reviews left for it.

Design-A-Pants Gallery & UserFriendly.org
Believe it or not, way way back in May of the year 2000 my web page was awarded "Link of the Day" by theUser Friendly site - which is still going strong today! It may have been a decade and a half ago but an award IS an award...
So what was so special about what was on my web page that generated so much attention? Pants. Making a crude template of a pair of boxer shorts I encouraged visitors to my page to decorate them how they saw fit and then email them back to me where I displayed them in a gallery of sorts.
Here's what they had to say:
"Unleash your creativity: Today is a site for when you're bored at work and already fiddling with Photoshop. Design a Pants is looking for creative boxer shorts design ideas. There's not much of a prize other than fame and glory, but admit it, you had nothing better to do anyway. Thanks to Twylight, who also appears to be vying for the "most pants submissions" prize, for today's link."
I have left the gallery page intact here to preserve the efforts of those who took the time to contribute to my 15 minutes of fame!
STORYSLINGERS
I am part of a small (but perfectly formed) creative writing group based in Dorset in the South West of England, and sporadically contribute to our lovely blog here :
Reviews
Reviews I have written for current (and not so current) CD’s and DVD’s are occasionally printed in Trucking Magazine, available at all good newsagents. And some bad ones too.
